Massachusetts and MultiState Class
This class satisfies the training requirements for a Massachusetts License to Carry (LTC) and Firearms Identification Card (FID) applicants. Because this class is approved by the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, those who successfully complete this class will be awarded both the NRA and Massachusetts certificates. Because this is a LIVE FIRE class, It meets the requirements of other states such as Maine, Connecticut and Florida where LIVE FIRE is a requirement.
Massachusetts LTC - Permits the holder to purchase and possess Stun Guns, large capacity handguns, Rifles, Shotguns and ammunition. Must be 21 years of age at time of application.
Massachusetts FID - Permits the holder to purchase and possess Non Large Capacity Rifles and Shotguns and ammunation. An applicant may apply at 14 years of age with parental consent, FID card will not be issued until the applicants 15th birthday. If under 18 years of age, the FID will permit the holder to possess non large capacity rifles, shotguns and ammunition but is prohibited from such purchases until the age of 18. While Massachusetts no longer has a FID or LTC requirement to purchase or possess chemical defense products, a person under the age of 18 must have an FID to possess these items.
Maine Concealed Firearms Permit - Must be 18 years of age
Connecticut Pistol Permit - Must be 21 years of age
Florida Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) - Must be 21 years of age
